Foliose Necklace

Foliose lichen, one of the most common in the world, rests encapsulated between recyclable metals and glass on the pendant of this telluric necklace.  This lichen grows tightly knit to rocks and tree trunks, but doesn't harm plants it grows on -- it actually helps them, as well as the environment as a whole! Foliose lichens are well-known for absorbing pollutants from the air, and can even serve as a "coat" for trees, protecting them from harsh winds and weather.
